New Partnership
In June 2008, The Harmony Program initiated a formal partnership with The City University of New York (CUNY), establishing the program within the nation's largest urban public university system. The Harmony Program is housed within the University's Office of Academic Affairs.
Brooklyn-Based Pilot
The Harmony Program is piloting a new program model this year based on Venezuela's renowned National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras, also known as "El Sistema" (What is El Sistema?).

Harmony Program Fundraiser
Purchase Tickets!
The Harmony Program will be honored by the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony at its Gala Performance at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 3rd at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
This special concert will feature New York Philharmonic Principal Cellist, Carter Brey, in a performance of Dvorak's Cello Concerto. A catered reception, sponsored by Thomson Reuters, will follow from 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the concert are $50; tickets for the concert plus reception are $75.
Proceeds will support the Harmony Program's mission of expanding instrumental music education in the New York City public schools.
